Digital Marketing Assistant

The Role

An exciting opportunity for a graduate or blogger to train and become an online media expert has become available in a thriving and innovative company. In this role, the individual will be involved in all aspects of online marketing, including Copywriting, SEO, Social Media and relationship building. This position offers the chance to encourage growth and have an impact with fresh ideas. The ideal candidate should have a good standard of English, knowledge of the internet, social media and ideally have a degree in a related field, such as journalism, marketing or computing. However, this is not essential, as training is provided.

Role Responsibilities

Assist the Marketing team in the delivery of search marketing campaigns as directed. To increase your knowledge and skill set in handling and managing your own campaigns, which deliver consistently great results.

Essential Requirements

  • A good understanding of SEO
  • At least 1 year’s experience in a digitally focused role
  • Relevant degree (or equivalent)
  • Ability to forge key relationships with third parties
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Methodical, organised, with high attention to detail
  • Results driven mentality with a “get things done” attitude


  • Can demonstrate best practice for link building and blogger outreach
  • Previous exposure to commercially focused roles
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Copywriting experience
  • Good grounding knowledge in all areas of digital marketing
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and an analytical approach
  • Great understanding and/or working knowledge of relevant industry tools including: Majestic SEO, SEMRush, Search Console
  • Knowledge of  Google Analytics is favourable
