We are delighted to be putting forward a team to run in the forthcoming Run or Dye race, which will be held at Liverpool’s world famous Aintree Racecourse.
Five brave members of Yoma staff have volunteered to compete in the 5km race, which takes place on the 6th June. They are Samantha Long, Alex Gallagher, Amy Parkinson and Natalie Horne from the Content team, and Natalie Hill from Email Marketing.
The fab five will all be raising money for Zoe’s Place, a local hospice dedicated to caring for children in palliative care.
All the colours of the rainbow!
As well as the distance, the Yoma team will have to contend with an explosion of colour too. That’s because the course includes four ominously named dye zones, which runners pass through to be covered in different coloured paint. It’s an idea based on the Hindu festival of Holi, and it promises to make Aintree even more colourful than ladies’ day.
It’s a fun event and a great way for Yoma to show our support for a charity close to our hearts. And though the girls insist that they will be sticking together on race day in a show of Yoma unity, we fully expect their competitive spirit to come out at some stage!
All for a very worthy cause
We want to wish the girls good luck in their training, and we hope that together we can raise plenty of money for what is a great cause.
